In order to understand the latest dynamics of the mobile consumer in the U.S.,
in March 2008
iGR fielded a survey to 400 consumers who had cellular handsets, used postpaid
rate plan and were aged between 35 and 65. The survey’s questions, detailed within
demographic and product usage segments, were designed to identify the level of usage and
interest in using the mobile handset, churn characteristics, interest in open network access, use of
mobile medical solutions and other demographics.
